1 lb Lean Hamburger (brown while making sauce below)
3/4 c. Water
1 T Cream of Wheat
Boil Water & Cream of Wheat until thick while stirring constantly
Once thick add the following to taste (measurements are approximate):
3/4 c. Ketchup
1 T Mustard
1/2 t Vinegar
1 t Sugar
1/2 t Chili Powder
1/2 t. Salt
Cook until bubbling then pour over ground meat. Mix together and cook over medium-low heat until bubbling. Serve on hamburger buns with grated sharp cheddar cheese.
This recipe doubles and triples very well. Freeze extra – when heating from frozen add Ketchup.
